James Place Restaurant - London, Ontario

Breakfast on Canada Day, and it was superb. Eggs, sausage, enough hot home fries to feed a small army. Waitress kept the coffee mug full and always smiled. Great breakfast, great staff, and reasonable prices. What more could a couple of old guys want. Thanks James Place Staff.

Finally, I tried this place with some friends and wasn't disappointed. Very delicious breakfast and so many menu items to choose from. This place is only open till 3, I think, so they just serve breakfast and lunch. We were there not long after noon, and it wasn't busy then, ... so I can't speak to how busy they would be earlier in the day. The best part was the choice of grilled or deep fried potatoes for breakfast, go deep fried, so good!! Prices were decent, no more than any other breakfast joint. I would definitely return! A very nice place to visit for brunch. Menu has all the brunch classics, so you'll definitely find something delicious to try. Generous portions and very good food. I got the house special (Two eggs, one pancake with your choice of bacon, ham or sausage. Includes homefries and toast) I got my home fries deep fried and added onions and cheese. The onions and cheese were very worth it. The home fries were super crispy and you can tell ... they use clean oil. It's probably the best breakfast I've had in years. Their scrambled eggs were amazing super light and fluffy, it's nice you can tell they use real eggs not those weird bulk bagged eggs. Pancake was super fluffy and love having the option to upgrade tk real maple syrup. (Which they also sold as well). Amazing service, our coffee mugs were never empty. Very attentive staff and management! :) Atmosphere was incredible. It gave nostalgic vibes but very comfortable environment. Awesome play list also! Definitely gives those "good ol day" vibes most restaurants lack now days. You can actually tell they care about their business. Will absolutely be back again! :) Read more

This is my first time going here, so I decided to get their classic breakfast. It came with hash browns with cheese and onions, two eggs, bacon, a chocolate chip pancake, and rye bread toast. All of that for an affordable price. I also want to give a special shout-out to Jillian ... for amazing customer service! I was not disappointed in the slightest. Great food and fantastic service.
