I literally saw the cook checking the internal temperature of the patty this noon. It was not dry, not under or overcooked, as usual, everything was just perfect. The consistency is incredible, even better repeatability than say, McD’s or any other chain that just mass cook fabricated stuff. I don’t know ... why would anyone eat a burger somewhere else. Raw beef patty! Both my boyfriend and I’s burgers had raw beef in our burgers. This was so gross, sooo gross!!🤢 We loved south street before this. But will not pay these prices for RAW beef!

South St. Burger is my go to burger joint. I’ve been going here on and off since 2018. Never have I ever had a bad experience. The True North is their most popular burger, but they have four other Signature Burgers. They also give you the freedom to create your ... own burger with your choice of protein and toppings. Their “shakes are hand scooped and made from premium ice cream,” as stated on their website. My routinely order is two burgers and a milkshake. This is exactly what I went with today. The two I chose were a True North and Mushroom and Double Swiss, paired with a chocolate shake. The True North makes use of maple syrup, aged cheddar cheese, bacon, onions, and a secret sauce. The Mushroom and Double Swiss incorporates sautéed mushrooms, tomato, Swiss cheese, garlic mayo, and lettuce. My shake went down easy. South St. is as healthy as fast food can be: they put only the freshest ingredients into their burgers. Everything, including the burgers and shakes and fries, tastes better than I thought possible. Ordered a true north burger tonight from Uber eats, cost me 20$… I take a bite and open it and there’s no bacon on it (just cheese, sauce and onions). I continue eating the burger only to realize the inside is almost red, it doesn’t look fully cooked at all. ... I’m used to a little pink in a burger but this is off putting. Spend your money elsewhere. I used to love this place but it’s seemingly gone far down hill. Read more

The burger patty was juicy, cooked to perfection, and had a good texture. However, the patty was a bit salty for my taste, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the burger. The bun was fresh and soft, which added to the overall taste of the burger. The fries, unfortunately, were ... not good at all. They were undercooked and lacked flavor, which was disappointing. The fries did not complement the burger, and I ended up not finishing them. The meal cost $19 with coke, which was quite costly for a burger and fries, especially considering the quality of the fries. The cost of the meal did not seem to justify the overall dining experience. Despite the issues with the fries and the high cost of the meal, the service was decent, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant.
