Fitzray’s - London, Ontario

I was visiting London from Halifax and decided to go on a solo tour of some pubs in the area in search of the best Irish Craic! I was suggested Fitzray’s from another pub I had stopped into, my intention being to have one or two drinks at each stop ... and keep moving on, that changed almost immediately when I entered Fitzray’s. I sat directly at the bar top as I prefer. I was blessed with some amazing conversation with regular patrons of the bar. I was given the most amazing service from Jason (Jay Bell) his kindness, accommodation and patience towards me made the absolute difference of my night. Went in before the London nights game Saturday April 28th from out of town. It was pretty busy in there but the service was impeccable fast. The food was delicious. I think those are the best mac and cheese bites I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend if your in the area.

Great room to see and hear live music. Friendly staff with good food , how can you go wrong? As a musician- they have a full PA (12 or 16 channels I forget) with subs . This is definitely not the norm for most “pub” style bars to have a ... great stage and a PA . Owens are friendly to work with. Read more

Nice downtown location. Food is okay at best. I’ve been here a few times and never really been impressed with the quality of food. Drinks were good (pretty standard). Our server was great though. I would consider going back again (for drinks only) however it is not in my top 5 ... choices to visit downtown. Read more

First time visiting we were treated very well. The food was absolutely delicious!! We had appetizer of double fried chicken Thai bites and one entree each chicken quesadillas for myself and bruschetta chicken breast for my husband. Wait time was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend for a nice meal.
