Chuck’s Roadhouse - London, Ontario

We went here this evening for my husbands birthday. Atmosphere was great, food was decent (especially for the price) but service is lacking. I have never worked in the service industry and I’m sure it”s stressful so maybe she was just having an off night but I needed to wait ... nearly 10 mins to be able to get some extra sauce, my grandson spilt some water and we needed to go get napkins ourselves. I definitely would have tipped more had our server check on us/been a bit more attentive. But again the food was decent and we will go back. Hopefully next time it’s a little better. Read more

Typical roadhouse which was great. Several outside picnic tables for when the weather is nice! Pretty good menu. Chicken and ribs were good, beer was cold and service was fine. Enjoyed our time here.

This is my first time going into Chucks London and let me tell you what an amazing place. Greeted at the door this evening with a smile from the lady who seated me and my little one in a booth for 2. We had a great waitress and I kept the reciept ... for her name Jessica. Even though it was busy this evening she was on top of customer service and treated my little one with awesome service. We ordered our drinks and delivered in great timing. We ordered our food and the food was delicious. We will definitely be coming back for more food and the customer service. Ordered the surf & turf. Steak was dry and over cooked, the lobster was rubbery and I ordered mashed potatoes w gravy but was given fries. I flagged a manager down and it took another 20 mins after waiting 40 mins already for our food which was hard with a 2 ... year old. They took my meal off but it was awkward Watching my son and partner eat then have them wait for me to eat 20 mins later. I appreciate they did something about but I've read recent reviews and this seems like the norm at this location. My partners steak was just barely pink (ordered medium) but he already too his medication and has to eat within a certain amount of time or would have sent his back as well. I love Chucks as a franchise and have visited all other in london with no conlaints but I do hope this location will remedy the issues here. Our server was nice enough. cheap prices compared to other steak houses i tried. requested med well but it was more like very well done.mashed potatoes not that great either and corn looked old. the lobster was kind of rubbery.
