Alibi Roadhouse - London, Ontario

Had my retirement party there Thursday night. Live band, pizza, wings and incredible service. At least 100 guests plus regular clientele. Staff were attentive, beer was cold. Awesome venue for a party.

Where do I begin?? The patio was open so we got to sit outside (cozy and clean). The waitress (who I specifically did not ask her name out of respect for her privacy but she knows who she is *lol*) was cute as a button with a shining personality. She ... was attentive, friendly and very personable. We started with cold beer from the tap (nice variety to choose from) and the Alibi platter (phenomenal assortment) which was fried to perfection so the batter/breading was enjoyable to eat. We also ordered the Zombie (burger) which was presented BEAUTIFULLY and was delicious. The potato skins were hearty and tasty. Now let's get into the mixed drinks. I ordered a White Freezie which is sweet but YUM! This started a conversation with our waitress about playing with the flavors a bit. She brought me a custom drink that reminded me of a bubblegum snow cone from back home. I was SO TICKLED and appreciated the extra effort she extended. Now yall, get this! Bless her, next time our waitress came out she was holding a FROZEN version of my bubble gum snowcone cocktail. Her boss surprised me-by making me a SECOND custom drink which was essentially a grown up snowcone. If you're reading this, let me ask you... when was the last time you visited an eatery that put that much effort into customer service?? I really do appreciate his generosity and her making our visit extra special. We aren't from London but thanks to Google we found Alibi. If you live there...GO! Why haven't you been yet? haha If you're a visitor to the city.. GO eat there! The menu has all the bar food you expect with some original additions and versions that will tempt your tummy. I’ve been coming to Alibi since I was a kid and have absolutely loved the place. The food is great and the staff were always friendly and welcoming. There has been an obvious shift from the many years of going that is noticeable. It’s likely that there has been a ... change of management. Staff who had been there for years have mysteriously disappeared. Existing staff seem on edge and not as happy as they once were. I’m hopeful someone will look at this as constructive and do what they need to to place the rudder back in the water because I would hate to see this place continue to drift. Read more

The Alibi use to be a staple in our community as a good place to get nachos and spinach dip etc... But the last few times my husband and I have found the nachos not as good as it use to be and the service was standing around talking about ... their customers and only came to our table few times . To get our drinks and food and water and bill. The waitress didn't seem happy to serve us at all. It's hard to say this after going there for years even had my Bachelorette party their, But I'm not going to return there nor will i encourage family or friends to return. It's time for us to turn the page in life and find what works for us for our next events . Read more

I'm not going to lie this place isn't the super fancy but for a bar the food's really great and decent price. I spend a lot of time here after my work, with my friends and coworkers. It can get pretty busy but I've never seen anything to crazy go ... down. It's good for a big group of people, cause they got lots of booths, and big tables. Read more
