I dropped by V's Schnitzel House during my Toronto visit last weekend, as I'm a sucker for schnitzel and want to see how each metro area I visit does a certain breaded German (or in our case here, Slovakian) pork cutlet. This Wiener schnitzel _slaps_. It's crispy on the outside yet ... tender on the inside!. It also has that "puff" yet isn't too greasy! The potatoes taste great and is well-seasoned. The portions are generous! At one point, the server saw me struggle to finish the meal that she asked if I needed a to-go box. But her service on the no-nonsense side beyond that. She'll leave you alone beyond what her job enforces her to do, making it perfect if you want to eat your food, pay your bill, and scram. Can't wait to return the next time I'm in Toronto. Note: V's charges 2% if you're using a credit card. Bring cash or a debit card instead! Read more
