Papa John’s Pizza - Edmonton, Alberta

Not a great experience. Didn’t get what we ordered, guy in the store was exceptionally dismissive, rude and put out at pretty much everything. I believe the owner was in the back at the time too. Ordered two pizzas from there and one from another pizza restaurant, as there ... were different requests in the house. The other restaurant, no issues, great pizza. This one, the pizzas weren’t horrible, just nothing was done as ordered. Sad reality, I tipped them 15% before the pizza was in the box, and still got attitude on a pick up pizza. Sad the varying results between different franchises of the same company. I see quite a few not so good reviews here, have to think the attitude at the store is not where it needs to be. I order from this location a lot. The service is really good and the staff is friendly. We are especially fond of the New York pizzas. They are excellent. My only issue, and this is strictly a personal preference, is I do not like the julienned ham. I much prefer ... ham slices. Other than that minor thing, I love their pizzas. I am also obsessed with their garlic dip. I NEVER get dips from other puzza places but their garlic dip is amazing!! If you live in Callingwood or Lymburn and want a really good pizza, this is the place to go. I know I will be a repeat customer. Read more

Took 45 min to get my order in the oven. While my uber driver waited. And lied to me about my order. Saying its been given to the driver and he never got it. All papa jones need new worker that like to work and not dog …. All day. ... Busy. Sure sure. I should have read all the reviews of this place. They avg 3 stars. And keeps going down. Hmm owner. If I could give them zero I would, Delivery driver was absolutely a nightmare to deal with. We order for delivery didn’t receive anything that we ordered everything was messed up, instead of 2l bottle we got 3 little bottles, our pizza was messed up as well. Instead of a large they ... gave us a small and we paid full price for a messed up order that doesn’t even taste good. Everything we asked for on the pizza wasn’t right. And what gave us garlic bread as an apology!? We didn’t even order it what the actual hell?! Our company regularly orders in for pizza lunch for the staff. We Always order from this specific location. The staff are friendly and super accommodating as we are just a touch outside of their delivery zone yet they always deliver! The food is fresh and delicious. ... Pricing is great and we are always happy with the service! Highly recommend the garlic knots and our office favorite pizza is the works on thin crust! Highly recommend Papa John's and more specifically the 7534 178 Street location for the staff and service alone!! Read more
