Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria - Edmonton, Alberta

The place is good. Ordered a tomato soup which was really delicious and a margarita pizza. Pizza was fresh but I felt the pizza sauce could be a bit more seasoned. It was a bit bland.

Delicious, wonderful gluten free crust here! Pizza is always great and service too. Love it here, would definitely recommend.

I absolutely loved my meal at Famoso! Usually I go in the evening with friends and get the Cavoletti with the walnut gorgonzola salad. But this time, it was 2pm on a Friday, alone. Wow - such a great experience. Had a fantastic server. And hit the place right at ... happy hour. Tried new things - the marinated olives and a simple spicy pizza with cappicola, cheese and basil. Totally delicious. Plus, two glasses of wine. Yum. And I even enjoyed the poker and hockey on tv. A perfect date with myself. Such awesome service I felt totally comfortable. Highly recommend! Absolutely outstanding authentic Italian comfort food! Large portions are bursting with flavor, and there are multiple options to choose from. Nice atmosphere for couples or families. If you haven't tried famoso yet, give it a try! Highly recommended!
