The worst subway I have been to, the taller man is very short patience and tempered with the older lady. Both have a very bad attitude towards customers, making me feel rushed and not welcomed into the store. You say one vegetable you want on the sub and they keep ... saying "AND" as in rushing you and not giving you time to think about what you would like on the sub. My definition of customer service is associated with my overall experience and the venues ability to enhance my engagement. This experience can be broken down to two main parts appearance and atmosphere. Appearance: convenient location and very clean and eye appealing inside and out Atmosphere: Toxic- there was two staff working and ... from my observation one was learning the position from a trainer. The trainer constantly criticized and deconstructed the learner. So much so, that I felt uncomfortable and wanted to intervene. In addition, the trainer was so focused on hovering over the learner that they were missing important instructions from customers and making errors themselves. Result: There is a time and a place for feedback and lectures and in front of customers is not it. Customer service is an art that delicately balances the service part of the customer experience and the behaviours displayed by the staff. An environment with such toxicity creates high turn over and poor customer retention. I’d rather drive to the competition than walk to get my lunch at this location. Over all my engagement was diminished, and I am so upset by the method of training I cannot bring myself to return if that is the training style condoned. 7/8/2019 To add to this. This is the best Subway restuarant I have ever been to! Extremely fast and they understand you the first time. A customer came in behind me who was obviously a regular and they treated him and remembered exactly what he wanted. The owner of this location is extremely rude. They are very cheap with the topping amounts, barley put enough lettuce on to fill the sub. Honestly would not recommend this location. Subway head office needs to read all the reviews here and do something about this, either terminate the owners ... contract with Subway or find a solution where the owner goes to a Customer Service training for a few days.
