Simply Donair - Edmonton, Alberta

I usually don't like giving bad reviews but this place is by far the worst place I have ever eaten at. Firstly the female cashier was extremely rude. Just because you have a bad day does not mean you have to take it out on customers. I noticed she has ... done that with other customers as well. She also did not acknowledge that there was literal HAIR in my food. I tried to be understanding but all she said was that it was just a common(??) mistake. If that is common, why haven't any of you done anything to change it? I asked for her name for a reference and she said it was Elham. I'm not sure if that is how you spell it but please do better training of your workers because the attitude i witnessed is unacceptable. I'm still waiting for a response through email so I can give them a second chance yet there is nothing even though it has been a week from now. And if this behavior continues then I wish this store has the best of luck because this will not go well in the future. Read more

Best Donair to put it simply! Generous portions and very decently priced! We Have decided to make this place our Donair spot from now on!

Stopped in for donairs while travelling through. This was midway on an eight hour trip. Normally, we would just eat on the road but we hauled over in the parking lot to eat. The portions were generous, and everything smelled so good, we decided to stop and eat. ... It’s a good thing we did… I ended up dripping all over my shirt. The sauce was so good… the donairs were awesome… and the donair fries!!! Two of my boys got them and weren’t able to finish the meal. We will definitely be back when we’re travelling through again. My favourite donair spot in St. Albert. Portions are generous, especially for the price point. Ingredients are fresh and the meat is very flavourful and tender. They are also very generous with the sauce upon request - which, in my books, is bonus points right there. Poutine fries is also ... so good. Service is always fast and friendly. One of the tastiest and biggest donairs I've had, and I have tried many donair places. Was told by a coworker about this place how much meat they put in the donairs and he sure was right.
