My wife and I enjoyed our visit here. The restaurant has plenty of parking and easy access for all. The restaurant was clean and the ambiance was nice. Most importantly the food was tasty. We were with a large group and our server was great and were taken good ... care of. My wife had the chicken 🍗 and waffles 🧇, I had the Wise Guy Bennie. We both loved our meal. Long time Famoso customers | Abruzzo pizza is our favorite pizza. Two of the last three times we have ordered from Sherwood Park location we received the wrong pizza. 🙁 after a long week. Order pick up pizza and look forward to enjoying at home. ... Tonight - a manager argued with us that it was an Abruzzo pizza but that their supplier changed. Unfortunately instead Italian sausage the Abruzzo pizza now has regular ground beef on this pizza. It is a different pizza. It has no flavor. And the manager argues that it remains Abruzzo. Extremely disappointed in the pizza and in the response. Arguing with us when you know the pizza has changed. Really. Be better. We will be trying out new places for pizza. Read more

A great place for a taste of Venice, Italy with pizzas made in the Italian style. These are not the North American pizzas with tons of cheese and meat so if you're looking for something to fill that junk food craving on the way home from the bar you won't ... find it here. But if you want as genuine an Italian pie as you'll find this side of Rome then this is the place for you. We stopped in for a late lunch recently. It's been a number of years since we've visited Famoso and in that time the menu has changed a bit. My wife and I were disappointed to find out that they no longer offered the Spicy Thai pizza, one of ... our favourites at Famoso, but at least they still had the Famoso salad. Unfortunately the Famoso salad wasn't as good as we remembered as it no longer had nice fresh cherry tomatoes in it, the chicken was under-seasoned, there wasn't much feta cheese and it just lacked the flavour that it used to have. Our children enjoyed their pizzas, as well as the Gelato that was included with their kids meals. We tried the Sweet BBQ Chicken pizza and added some buffalo sauce at the suggestion of our server. The pizza was quite tasty, but it wasn't the pizza we were looking forward to. I don't know if there's enough to really bring us back to Famoso again anytime soon, at least for a couple of years, that is unless they bring back the amazing Spicy Thai pizza! Read more

We ordered seasoned curly fries and they were awful...I don't know what they were seasoned with as they were incredibly bland and felt like they were rethermed from the frozen section in a grocery store. The service was unfriendly and felt incredibly rushed despite us dining at off hours (very ... few tables were filled). Would not recommend this place, unfortunately. The table was not cleaned before we sat down and our server barely cleaned it when we did sit down. Read more
