Terrible service. We went tonight after game 7 of the playoffs so it’s understandably busy, I get that. We went in after the game was over so most people cleared out. Got sat after 10 minutes of waiting only for no one to acknowledge us or the table next to ... us for at least 20 minutes. All we ordered was 2 waters, 1 drink and 2 orders of fries. 1 drink was brought not even by our server; had to ask for waters, didn’t get our fries for over another 25 minutes until we asked her about them, which she then went to the back and magically they appeared, had to also ask for water refills. I’ve been a server and I know what it’s like to be busy but it’s unacceptable to have at least 15 staff in the vicinity and tables sat unattended to. I ordered a beef dip and fries during an Edmonton Oilers away game, the bar was very busy but the staff made sure that every order was taken care of in a very professional manner. As my food order did take a little bit of time, they comped it to ... me to make sure the service was amazing. I regularly go to Match for lunch with my coworkers and always have the beef dip. It’s the best in the city hands down. Tender and flavourful. Kyla S aka Kikki is often out server and she’s amazing. Friendly and attentive. Thanks for great service.

Came in before the 50 Cent concert, just wanted to grab an appetizer and some drinks. We were seated quickly, however we were seated across from each other at a small table and had problems hearing each other speak. Not their fault, that’s just the atmosphere here. We ended up ... getting the nachos with chicken, definitely would go back to have and try more of their menu options, however the service left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Pun intended. We were in somewhat of a rush, so I asked to pay for my order so that we could leave once we finish our nachos. Initially we were given a small container of salsa and sour cream and naturally with the large amount of nachos we had, we needed more salsa. I stopped my server and asked for more and she stated that it would be an extra $1 for the salsa. Seeing that I already paid for my order in full, this was unnecessary and uncalled for.
