Red Robin - Edmonton, Alberta

Got sat at a booth where there is a tv. It was not on. I asked the server to turn it on, server said she would check. 10 minutes later I asked another server.. Same thing no answer. When I asked our server a second time I finally got an ... answer tv was broken..... 3 Times I had to Ask......I ordered welldone fries with my meal and side of gravy. When order came out fries were limp. Under cooked to me. I sent back and was told right away. My brother ate his and ordered a refill. 10 minutes later. He got his at same time. The server obviously forgot my order. Waitress took my under cooked fries with my gravy, never replaced the gravy.. Brother and I asked for refill of coffee waitress brought out enough for 1 and then didn't return. When she did finally return she brought coffee in a cup. Didn't drink it as I lost trust in the server and was curious as to why she didn't pour in the cup I had. Horrible service and cooks rushing orders just to put them out... Read more

Tonight we had a good experience at Red Robins. One of the appetizers wasn’t cooked properly but our server and the manager were absolutely amazing at addressing the matter. Let me start by saying we love Red Robins and have had good experiences at this location, however this last trip was made up of slow service for a Sunday at 2pm, didn’t get any fries before our main meal. Infrequent check ups from the waiter. Disappointed with the bathroom cleanliness ... and restaurant ambient temperature. Quite a few comments made in the restaurant and we kept our jackets on throughout the meal entirety. It was 1 degree C. We will likely eat here again but had a negative experience this past Sunday. Good food and a nice atmosphere. The whiskey river burger, Prime Rib beef dip and freckled lemonades are on my families top favorites. I have to say that from Vancouver BC to Edmonton AB the Red Robin chain really never disappoints. The food has been consistently very good and exceptional at times! I always have the "sauteed 'shroom burger" and everytime I do it's great. Loaded with mushrooms (as you can ... see), bun covered in a light garlic spread and of coursr bottomless fries!! Tonight, here in Sherwood Park my actual burger was char-broiled JUST A BIT MORE than I would have liked, but on the whole a fantastic meal with amazing service. Read more
