On canada day I visit with my wife at Smittys restaurant Millwoods and ordered Butter chicken and I found no chicken in it. They served gravy with rice only. After seeing the table menu in the picture it was shown apple pie with ice cream. And they charge ice differently ... and Apple pie different. It was a bad experience for me. Read more

Staff was a bit disorganized for father's day. Seemed under staffed possibly? The food was standard. Had the eggs Benedict. Wasent made from scratch. Not my favorite place for eating. But the VLTs are always fun!!

January 2023. UPDATE Went twice with family members and both times enjoyed the exceptional service by the waitress staff and manager. Food a little slow coming out but tasted delicious. So worth the wait. WILL BE BACK! SEPTEMBER 9th, 2023 - UPDATE Had our staff Christmas Party there. Everyone was very accommodating. ... We had our own private area at the back of the restaurant where they could accommodate all of us comfortably. The waitress was very friendly and bent over backwards to make sure all our needs were met. We ordered different appetizers to share which were enjoyed by all my staff. Some even enjoyed hot chocolate with Baileys in it. After enjoying the food our tables were cleared and we played the gift switcheroo game. Then came the gift giving to each of our staff to say thank you for your service over the past year. Of course there was a lot of chatter and sharing stories and experiences, etc. It was an absolutely wonderful afternoon and our yearly tradition of spending our staff Christmas party at Smitty’s didn’t let us down. Great portions. Coffee stayed topped up. We asked for well done sausage so they cut them in half.... love it.

Stopped into Smitty's while browsing the Millwoods Town Centre Mall. I was getting hungry and decided to have a light meal and for sure some hot coffee. Sadly, the place was relatively quiet, and it took some time before I was seated. Once I was seated I got a menu ... right away, was greeted by my server right away, and got that coffee. I ordered some tasty pancakes, and to be honest, I wish the food would have been served a little hotter. My pancakes were cold and it is not because of any syrup nor toppings. However, Talyor's service was great and it made a difference. Hoping for a better experience next time, but with server's who care about their customers it is worth another visit. Read more
