I went with my friend, and it was already pretty late. We were totally surprised to find a bubble tea shop still open at that hour! Honey lemon green tea with pearl. My favourite thing to order. First time ordering this from Gong Cha Bubble Tea. I thought it was odd when he put the contents into the blender but didn’t see him put the lemon in. Otherwise I would have said something. I digress. After ... leaving the store and throwing the straw into the drink after getting to my destination, I was surprised my first sip included lemon chunks… Not into it at all. Not sure if this is normal practice but I’m guessing not cuz it’s pretty tart, not to mention the texture is not ideal. $7.75 later for something I’m going to toss. Disappointed in the new to me Bubble tea spot. I’ll stick with my regular joint. Read more
