We’re at Joeys a couple times a month in the winter and maybe once a month in the summer; always reliable, efficient service and consistently high-quality food. Last week, we had the most amazing service ever at a restaurant in Canada!! I ordered a Red Truck Amber, the server put it ... in her iPad, then while she was taking the next drink order, my beer showed up, delivered by a gentleman in a suit 👍🏻. The iPad is connected to the bar and kitchen to accelerate delivery times. The manager, Mo, was out on the floor helping the team and he explained the teamwork concept at Joey with front of house and back of the house working together to deliver the best experience possible. I recently dined at Joey in Sherwood Park and found the presentation of the food quite impressive. However, there was a significant letdown when it came to the condiment options, especially considering this is a restaurant in Alberta where wings are a staple. The absence of ranch dressing was particularly ... disappointing. Moreover, the unavailability of alternatives like Caesar dressing or garlic mayo only added to the dismay. While the visual appeal of the meals is commendable, Joey really needs to align their condiment offerings with the local dining expectations to enhance the overall experience. The spaghetti pomodoro here is really good and the happy hour drink deals are always a plus. Have never had a bad time at any Joey’s location and this one is no exception, great decor and ambience helps create a warm atmosphere to relax and dine or drink with friends. ... Just went for dinner for the second time and both times we were delighted by the good service and delicious food. I would try to describe it as pub-like cuisine with a fancy twist mixed with a steakhouse. You can either dine at the restaurant side or watch the hockey ... game on the lounge side.
