Rarely do I give a restaurant 5 stars in anything; however, Thanh Thanh hit the marks this week. My companion and I parked in the back. They had been here before and knew the back door was open. It felt like I was entering illegally, which added to ... the anticipation. Thanh Thanh has a reputation of amazing food and excellent service. They sure lived up to their name. Portions were amazing, and the dishes were perfect. Not too much sauce and just enough rice to fluff the entrees. You must visit, at the least order take out. Still the best asian restaurant in all of Edmonton, in my opinion. I visit once a year when I'm here for a conference. Food is consistent, delicious, reasonably priced, portioned well and still family-owned after all these years!

Amazing food! Had the bun bo hue (central Vietnamese soup). Order that everytime I go for Vietnamese. This one was a little different than most but so spicy and so delicious that I couldn't stop eating it. Lots of meat and they give you lots of sprouts ... and basil on the side.
