We recently bought a crispy pata coz we’ve been craving for it. Hoping it would satisfy my family’s craving but ended up getting this. Like what is this? I forgot to take a photo of the huge bone inside. It’s depressing! It looks like a turkey leg for 1 person. ... Come on we’re willing to pay to satisfy our cravings but this is what we get. If the owners are okay to serve this where’s your dignity. I just wanted everyone to know that the taste was amazing but the size and the amount of meat that we got was only for 1 person and that is used to be for 2 to 3. We’re just disappointed. Read more

We went at max’s on fri july 5. we have the worst experience! the food, specially the service the fact that they put auto grat on our bill. we felt robbed by that moment . The crispy pata that he served to us is so stinky they have after taste ... you can smell its very awfull , so i talked to our waiter about our concern he’s excuse is it was normal that our food has a foul odor because that part of crispy pata is originally from the back part of the pig thats why smell like pee that exactly his word is.. i was so stunned on his responce i couldn’t say anything because obviously he doesn’t want to do something to us or address the problem. He never went back to refill our water. we need to get up on our chair to look for him to order another dishes. The fact that is not busy at all we are the only table dinning in. The manager was sitting behind in our table helping customer book a reservation she even get the server attention to help us out.. too bad this place going downhill it was so sad that the service and food is not worth the price anymore. I went in and ordered takeout. It was very expensive! The pork belly was fairly good but there just wasn't much of it. The liver sauce that comes with it is nasty. It was very sweet and didn't taste anything like liver. The chicken skins were good but again too ... much for what you get. They also have different prices everywhere. They don't update when they have an increase. The chicken skins were $10 at Skip The Dishes but $15 in the restaurant, even as takeout. I won't be going back there. Read more

Really disappointed with today’s service and also with the food itself. The bulalo tasted like salty water with soggy corn and also the pork sisig had more onions than meat. As you can see in the picture we weren’t able to finish all the food because of how disappointed we ... were. I also AGREE with the other people’s reviews NO HOSPITALITY at all , I get that we have to pack our leftovers ourselves but cmon I had to walk to the til to ask for some to go boxes and even for my bill because no one was there to actually serve us. We had a wonderful 3rd birthday celebration of my daughter here last August 20. It was an unforgettable moment that we will forever cherish because of the good service the staff provided especially to Ms. Grace Heradura who accepted my reservation even only 1 week before the event date. We ... were amazed of the decoration which exceeded our expectation. The food was great and our guests love it! I never regret choosing Max's Restaurant. We will surely come back. Read more
