BEST experience I’ve ever had at a Moxies!! The waitresses were fast, friendly and polite. Chef Arielle McLean even came out from the kitchen and chit chatted with us. She was a delight. The food was excellent all around the table. No complaints from the group. We had three servers in ... total checking on us the entire time. The restaurant was quite busy but you would not know from how efficient the train was running. The experience was similar to when you book the whole restaurant just for your party. Great atmosphere and vibe. The quality of service was top notch. They had an unexpected large crowd the night before so they ran out of the wine we ordered. No biggie. Randi, came to our table and personally apologized. She more than made up for what was a minor ... inconvenience. It’s not like they ran out of wine. Sophia, took amazing care of us, returning often to make sure everything was perfect. My wife had the Steak Frites and I had the Sirloin. Just this week, was at a the three letter steakhouse that starts with a K (Grand Prairie) and this was by far better! This was not only delicious but the quality of the staff is phenomenal. Great atmosphere, beer, food, and customer service. The bar is right opposite the downtown C-train station in less than 1 minute's walk, which is easy to reach. The seats inside were comfortable, and the music was at a suitable volume (not too loud👍🏼), the atmosphere was quite cozy, good for ... chatting and drinking. What really stood out was the exceptional customer service. Our server (sorry I don't know her name) was friendly, attentive, and efficient, always ensuring we got everything we wanted. And then, of course, there was the beer! We went there at around 2:30pm and they got an impressive selection of beers and cocktails during Happy Hour. I opted for the Big Life Amber Ale. It tastes gentle, malty and comes with a mild bitterness. It might not be fully remarkable, but definitely good enough to be an afternoon beer. The price was nice as well. Plus the fries, everything meets our expectations. Btw, the white chocolate brownies were great. 😃 Five stars and highly recommended to someone who's looking for a hangout with friends, family or a romantic dinner. Highly recommend! We’ve been to Moxies twice while staying in Calgary and both times were amazing. It’s a bit on the pricey side but it certainly lived up to our expectations.
