I would like a refund, here’s why; June 22nd 1230-230 we Paid $380 for a birthday party that was double booked so they purposely put two tables together and then had them sing happy birthday to two different kids at the same time while the mouse in costume was standing at a ... different table. We sat the kids for food and had to wait, in all they took an extra 25min to come out with Chuck E, which took away play time on the provided cards. The party next to us was booked for 1pm, they sat the table right next to us, when there were two other tables available. it was overcrowded and too loud, there should have been a table in between us. My son and his guests have autism, this was overwhelming for them to wait so long for the character to come out then by the time we ate the play cards ran out soon after, another let down for the kids, this party was so poorly managed. In the attached photo that was the happy birthday song, he never even came over to the table to have any interest or interaction, how sad is that? If I don’t get a refund, I’ll review my options through a consumers relation representative. I had heard of this place in movies, so I was excited to take my kids here. Perhaps it’s because it’s a smaller franchise in Canada but it was very underwhelming. It’s nice to have an unlimited play option for a certain time on the arcade games, but at least for ... my 6 year old, he got bored pretty quickly. When the mouse comes out, he seems very unenthusiastic to be there. We have been twice in the last year and it's been the same. We ordered a large cheese pizza and this was relatively tasty, but eat it while it's hot otherwise the cheese turns back into sort of its hard, plastic-y form. All in all, my 3 year old still loves this place and gets so excited playing the games. It's always been REALLY quiet when we have been during the week, like under 5 kids in the entire place, quiet. Stopped by for Birthday party on Saturday just past and well it's not of a mixed review I understand stand this is a place design towards kids but they could use a couple more adult video games to play while visiting the place with the family. The menu ... is rather sad not many options and you could see some employee don't really enjoy there jobs. When there is 6 or 8 different party's going on at the same time there is no room to move around and always seem to be in the way of other guests. Our experience with Chuck E. Chess is excellent. The place is nice & clean and staffs are very helpful. They have three types of birthday party packages. We really like their service. It is a good location to celebrate kids birthday. Kids will love it. There are not much options ... for babies and toddlers. I think this place is best for 4 yrs and up. There are ample free parkings spots available. Read more
