Newly renovated and still excellent service and food. Go there often enough they recognize me. Dunno if that's a good thing but heck, I'll take it.

I have picked up dinner here on occasion for the past several years and am always impressed with the quality of food and excellent and prompt service. Two observations though: 1. i came in shortly before 9pm and the clerk had just finished mopping the floor. While this is good to do, ... especially after, say a dinner rush, I had the impression that they were about to close, so asked them what time they were open. (They close at 10pm.) Positive side is that the place was very clean. 2. While the portion sizes and quality of food are very good, can you maybe include a reasonable amount of sauce for each dish? The tempura dipping sauce container was not only tiny, but was only 1/8th full! I'm talking a tiny amount, not enough to dip anything in really. Same with the Gyoza sauce. So please either increase the amount of sauce you put in those tiny containers, or get larger containers. But at least FILL them. Other than that, they do a great job on the food and service. Recently renovated this location looks so bright, open and welcoming! Full new design. The staff are 10/10 great! While I was eating my food they came up to me and asked how things were and if I needed anything else. Very politely of course!

For the price and for what it is, this is great. Never had an issue with the service, always very friendly and funny, and so 5 stars to them! The food is great for what it is. I know a few small Japanese businesses around that are obviously much better, but still ... this is great for being something quick and close by. Recommendation: Bento Box Get some rolls, 1 or 2 servings of sauce, and my preference would be beef. I usually add some shrimp to the order as well. Cost is reasonable.
