Starbucks - Calgary, Alberta

With all of my allergies I often worry about how careful staff are when taking my order, but I've never had to worry about Starbucks. They are careful about my severe dairy allergy and rinse/sanitize their utensils extra well before making my drink.

One of my favourite Starbucks in the city! The atmosphere is cozy and comforting, and the Starbucks staff at this location are particularly kind and friendly. Some locations feel noisy and crowded but this one is definitely not like that. Definitely recommend for anyone who loves coffee and books!

The manager seems to have a tantrum issues taking it out on her staffs. I was just in line waiting for my drink and she just started scolding at her employee half way through. Although I don't know what she was yelling about. It seems that the employee was in ... distraught and instead of handling it more professionally, it seems like it was dealt unprofessional way. Jimmy was the cashier and he just took my order and walked away...then said from afar... the machine is ready!... I said Oh...sorry...I didn't know... He didn't even tell me how much it cost or anything just walked away doing whatever, then never said , thank you, do you want a ... receipt or anything. I felt like I was bothering him by ordering a tea. He was very rude. Then Tracy can't even respond...with your welcome...when I thanked her for the tea! Don't their parents teach them manners?!
