I live nearby and often go through the drive-thru. There's a lady, maybe around 50, who is at the second window. She is the nicest person. She's always polite and has a kind smile. McD's should have some type of recognition for people like her who go above and ... beyond. Read more

Whoever the manager is tell your staff to wear a hairnet I have black hair and this is clearly blond hair that's why y'all have 3.3 stars have a nice day.

Despite my effort to add extra tomatoes and lettuce to my order, it was the blandest burger I have ever had. Moreover, I guess in Calgary, AB there is a city bylaw that requires me to take my order and after sitting down, realize I don't have napkins, so I ... have to go back, queue and ask for napkins (the city bylaw says the staff can't offer them) napkins. Rather the one I would have plucked myself, I received like six. Sat down again. No ketchup. Go back, queue and ask for ketchup. Received four when I wanted one. The restaurant is following the policy set out by Calgary city hall (so it's not Micky D's fault), but it makes for a confusing and frustrating experience. I can't imagine if I ordered via drive thru. I gather it's a city hall green initiative, but my order included an elaborate cardboard box, bottled water and copious napkins and fries, so I am unclear how this policy makes sense. Read more

I enjoyed my experience at this McDonalds. I was coming here since 3 years old when both my parents worked and we would stop here before day care. The staff has been so above and beyond friendly; though I have noticed a high turn over rates as of late. They ... never get my order wrong or have failed to make my special menu item additions. There is sometimes a rougher crowd but this only adds to more real experience as the demographic in Killarney is quite diverse. This keeps me coming back to dine in from time to time. There is usually a kind elderly woman working at the first drive through window; she remembered me throughout my journey as a young whipper snapper coming back home after practice stopping for McFlurrys to my adult life fiending for a quick cuppa before the work day. This place never disappoints and usually leads the McDonald’s franchise in promotions. Crack Macs down the street has noticeably less quality food and I would say this is worth the extra 5 mins drive up the street. I have subtracted only 1 star for dirty bathrooms but the facility itself is very clean and offers a huge dining room space to sit in; even during Covid. The 1 star reviews in my opinion are from grossly picky individuals. If there was any issues with the pop tap in the summer it has now been addressed. TRY this maccies out! Read more
