The Keg Steakhouse + Bar – Market Mall - Calgary, Alberta

We started eating with the Keg from Winnipeg to Calgary，it is our favourite restaurant. Tasty food and considerable service all the time. This time we were looked after by Johnna，she is great. We will be back to the keg everytime when we need to celebrate.

I come here often after work for a good meal as I am too lazy to cook for myself. If I keep getting the same quality of food and service, I may not need to stock my fridge. The cedar plank salmon is good, but always come back ... for the 12oz New York strip and the mushrooms neptune. Read more

Great dining experience in the Market Mall area! This The Keg is directly connected the Market Mall and comes with all of the things you'd expect; a dimly lit, cozy environment, attentive staff, great steaks, and more. The food is great, and although it's expensive, this is a nice spot ... to treat yourself or others during a celebration or milestone. Steaks are made perfectly to the way you'd like them, and the other entrees and drinks are all delicious as well! Staff are always checking in on you, and the experience overall is quite delightful. Had a great birthday dinner with my wife and a good friend. We started with a Caesar salad calamari and of course bread. They had the prime rib which was done perfect rare and so tender. I had the NY and it was perfect. Always a good time at the ... Keg. Our server was perfect as well. I got a Billy Miner pie for my birthday treat which was not expected, and hate to say I ate 90% of it myself! Read more

This Keg is located at Market Mall, but you access it from the outside of the building. This is a busy spot and I recommend going early and/or making reservations if you can. Because it is so busy, it can be a little loud, but overall the premises are clean ... and welcoming. The lighting is low inside the restaurant, so anyone with low vision or vision impairment may want to take their time navigating the interior space, as there are different levels inside and a few stairs. Overall, the food is good and the portions are generous. We tried the Cesar Brussels sprouts and found them super high in garlic. Everything else was great and we enjoyed our time here. Read more
