Excellent experience. Food was phenomenal. Atmosphere was great. I'm kind of sad I haven't gone sooner. I would absolutely consider this place a top choice to revisit. Anya was our waitress and she was a joy. Management also help with my dining experience and I'm not sure I've ever come ... across better customer service. Stopped by for quick lunch and the patio is open. Seemed the patio is very popular. Service was wonderful. Food tasted good too.

Decent lunch, I'm assuming this place is popular in the evenings. I had the fish tacos and my wife had a burger. Fries are served with dill dip, which is delicious. I for some reason didn't get mine, I paid for a thimble of gravy so they assumed I no ... longer wanted the dill dip? I have lived in the area for a long time and never wandered in to see what state and main was all about. I was recently given a gift card and decided what a better time to check it out. My assumptions, mostly true were that the restaurant was a ... "classed up" version of a classic family dining establishment not unlike its partner business (Original Joe's) but with a vibrant pub vibe. I was not at all disappointed in the quality of the meal nor the service but it was not mind blowing or above a standard I've come to expect, after all dining out had become a substantial expense these days. We took advantage of the Valentine's dinner special which included plenty of great dishes. I do wish they had included options for the Appy as the wife can't eat shrimp. Maybe next time! Regardless the experience was pleasant and the food was delicious. Our waitress I believe her name was Oliva was new on the job but we felt she made our dinner perfect with great professionalism and polite and friendly attitude, great job Olivia! Update: Visited this place once again. Never disappointed with the food or the experience. However, a suggestion would be for the waitress to use less perfume as it interferes with the dining senses. The wine glass felt gritty. Despite this the food and scenery more than make up these oversights. Previous ... Review: State & Main is definitely on our revisit list. The flatbread and burgers here are a real treat. Their peach bellini stands out, especially with the unique addition of a frozen peach slice. We also enjoyed their selection of cold, crisp beers and delightful wine. The ambiance is enhanced by music played at just the right volume, and the overall maintenance of the place is commendable.
