Fusion Sushi - Calgary, Alberta

Decided to try this place cuz saw a line up out the door...no idea why. 1st impression the fish were super sad, dirty tank & starving. Was gonna leave at that point but already tired & starving myself. 2nd, it's not Thai food at all, more like weird Chinese food ... tastes pre frozen. That was extremely disappointing I was looking frwd to Thai. Portion size for "Thai" all you can eat was too big for 2 people, size good for 4 +. Had to spit out the 2 beef dishes & brought home to the dogs it was not edible for humans. For the good...the sushi I liked, red tuna & prawn tempura really fresh & amazing,.rolls & tea were great. This place should get rid of their so called "Thai", focus on more sushi options and take care of the fish tank or get rid of it...staff were alright, ok service. 6/10 won't go back. Read more

It’s my first time doing eat all you can sushi and its was a great experience. However, service is not so friendly, our server (gentleman) is a bit awkward and looks irritated. The lady is friendly though. I will come back again on my next visit to Calgary.

This has become our favourite Fusion Sushi branch in Calgary! We do not mind the very long drive from the deep south all the way to the NW as this location has got the most consistent service, food quality and the freshest of ingredients. Their salmon sashimi is one of ... the best in the city and we would also consume more than 100 pieces of them when dining in. lol… so good! Alex and Anna were the ones helping our table last night and they couldn’t have been any nicer and more efficient! We have been to 4 out of the 5 locations in Calgary and we won’t go anywhere else but this location, even if it takes more than 45 minutes to drive here sometimes. The best all-you-can-eat in town! Let’s start from the beginning. The moment you walk into the restaurant, friendly staff greet you with a smile and walk you to a cozy seat with a clean table. A waiter is handing you a tablet and you now get a clear idea of what you want ... to eat as those food images say it all. After hitting the button to send the order, you start looking around and notice the busy kitchen, efficient chefs, happy faces of patrons and Japanese-themed wall paper. You gaze back at your table and there is delicious sushi on the plate. You are completely overwhelmed by the taste and fragrance… I will tell you the truth - our family is addicted to this place.
