H-Mart Food Square - Burnaby, British Columbia

Coquitlam's H-Mart is a convenient grocery trip. Large, organized, clean with friendly staff. Also has a bakery, cafe/drinks shop and a hot foods area.

I generally have no problems with this H-Mart but I bought sushi for $11 and it was the worst sushi I've ever eaten. The rice was so cold and hard. I only ate the fish and avocado.

Highly recommended. I’ve never seen this much friendly cashiers and workers. If you want to get 5 star Asian supermarket experience please come and visit here. You can get everything you need in one place.

Big Koren super market. The fruits and vegetables are of good quality but you pay for it. Good selection of cookies, drinks, noodle soups, pastries, etc. This is a fun place to visit for someone who doesn't speak Korean and is not familiar with a lot of ... their food. Recommended. Read more

Decent selection unless you're looking for produce. Everything is so wrapped in plastic and Styrofoam, I just feel gross about it. The world is dying, but hey, let's keep wrapping cucumbers in saran wrap, huh? Also WHY do you wrap stuff that already comes packaged? It's absolutely heartbreaking.
