I just ordered food from this restaurant and it was the ultimate bad experience! We ordered beef with oyster sauce which according to the menu, was supposed to have mixed veggies and garlic. They sent me a small-sized container of beef broccoli which honestly tasted like water and soy. We ... also ordered tom yum goong which is supposed to taste like kaffir, galangal and lemon grass. Guess what? This one also tasted like water! I could have done a better job making it at home myself! The lunch special item was good but portion-wise, was not worth it. First time coming here. Was in Abbotsford for the afternoon and was craving some Thai food late into the afternoon. A quick Google search and I came across this place. It was fairly close to where I was and reviews were high. Haven't had proper Thai food for awhile so I ... was in need of something good. Briefly checked out the menu and settled on one of my favorites, pad gra pao (chili basil) stir fry with chicken. Was told 15 minutes on the phone, and it was ready in 10 when I walked in. Nice little place in a good area. Looked like there was alot of takeout orders lined up, good sign. Ordered rice to go with it. Food was delicious. Some of the best chili basil I've had. Whether it’s your first time trying Thai food or you want to go back to Thailand this is place you want to go in the Fraser Valley! Great portions and very reasonable prices for what you get. The atmosphere is so warm and friendly. Personally, I love everything they place in-front ... of me. However, I would recommend their Papaya Salad, Grilled Pork Salad paired with the sticky rice (Pro-tip: dip the sticky rice into the sauce.) and Stir-fried Crispy pork with gailan. We recently had the pleasure of checking out Ton Khao Thai Cuisine, and we realized we had discovered a small little gem in the city of Abbotsford! They served some really delectable food and I can't wait to go there again! We tried their Pad See Ew, and holy basil leaves, ... Batman! It was outstanding. The flat rice noodles were perfectly cooked, and the sauce was bursting with flavor. I couldn't get enough of those tender veggies mixed in. It was like a taste explosion in my mouth, fireworks and the whole 9 yards! Next on our escapade was the Red Curry. Oh, mama mia, it was spicy goodness! The creamy coconut milk base with the aromatic spices made me weak in the knees. The chunks of tofu and assorted veggies were like little bites of heaven. It was like a party in my tummy, and everyone was invited! Let me just say, Ton Khao Thai Cuisine is now on my top Thai restaurants list in Canada. The food was exceptional, the flavors were on point, and the portions were generous. In fact, I loved it so much that I packed an extra order to savor later. First time coming to this place and I must say they have very delicious food! We got the mee grob as an appetizer; very nice. Our mains were the chicken pad thai and pad eggplant.
