Hot Chili House Chinese Restaurant - Abbotsford, British Columbia

I have been coming here for over 5 years. This little restaurant is run by a lovely family and the food is wonderful every time. Definitely a comfort food spot for me. Please try it out if you are in the area!

Stop by yesterday after Tulip show, ordered couple of our favour dishes which was very disappointed. The taste is just not right. We don’t want to waste food so we tried our best to finished. We love to support local business and hope the food quality and quantity will improve.

Tried this place for the first time yesterday and was extremely disappointed. Ordered the special fried rice and shrimp chow mein both which had zero flavor. I had to load it up with soy sauce to even make it edible. Lemon chicken was probably the worst I’ve ever had, super ... greasy thick batter coating and the lemon sauce was more like a lemon water. Thin consistency and just a hint of lemon. My dogs enjoyed it though. The only reason they are getting 2 stars is I enjoyed the shrimp and scallop garlic chili dish. Mom and pop type establishment. Good tasty food. Great service. Well priced lunch specials. The photo is chicken szechuan lunch special, comes with a basic wonton soup. If I remember correctly it was $9.95.

Having moved from the city (where there is an abundance of amazing Asian restaurants), I was so so happy to find this gem.
