Station House Bar & Grill - Abbotsford, British Columbia

Firstly, I know it's not their fault but damn the flies!! I came for ribs but their menu didn't state they aren't served till after 5pm. I asked if their calamari comes with Jalapenos or banana peppers. The server said it did come with jalapenos (but this detail wasn't listed on the ... menu) Stuffed mushrooms weren't in a mushroom serving plate. Just a standard deep dish. Poppers were decent. All the food tasted wonderful. Atmosphere was quiet for 3pm on a Thursday. Parking was easy. Servers were a pleasure. I'd recommend they better advertise the time for certain dishes and also their ingredients per dish but otherwise the servers and chef made this experience. Management seems to be going down hill. Their chaulk sign outside was for March/April... It's July. First time coming here. Not sure I'll return due to the lack of attention to detail with menu and other displays but definitely not the servers or chefs fault. Read more

Very relaxed atmosphere on a Friday afternoon. I love the staff, they always provide service with a smile and are very attentive. The patios are great and I like that there's a smoking friendly patio. Very well priced for the portion size and quality of food.

My steak was ok. Vegetables good, potato good. My wife fish tacos were cold. She didn't finish them. Happy hour was only on winter beer and certain wines. Very limited. Would we go back ?? Carpets need a hood cleaning.

It’s a pub with keno. It was quiet this morning, service was prompt and friendly and the food was ready in minutes. Super fast. Breakfast was good and the report was that the poutine with bacon was sublime. Pretty big menu so we’ll come back and try something else next time. Stopped for a bite to eat at about 1:30 in afternoon on a Tuesday. I was very pleasantly greeted by my server Allison who went on to provide me with truly excellent friendly service. I decided to try a Classic Burger with added on for a price of $2 each ... cheese and bacon, and a small red wine. This came with fries which were really nice. However, the bacon was undercooked so I sent it back to be cooked more. Once it came back the burger was good but now fries were getting cold so I added a side of hot gravy for dipping. So, food was okay overall... but... sadly the wine glass was dirty and had to be sent back, and then the knife was also dirty. So that turned me off a bit, but overall... the good made up a bit for the bad, I'd give the place a second try in future. Read more
