Black Forest Inn - Woolwich, Ontario

I live in Toronto and have been many times to the Black Forrest Inn in Conestoga north of Waterloo because it is simply amazing. Its a buffet restaurant that's open on weekend's with a roast beef & roast ham carving station, ribs, roast chicken, huge variety of hot mains and ... freshly baked croissants/breads/pastry, big fresh salad bar, omelette and pasta bar, a huge amazing desserts bar with an amazing variety of cakes and pies, and ice cream bar. They organized our wedding for us and put us in contact with photographer and dj. Judy was amazing to work with and helped us step by step through the process. Staff were amazing start to finish. We arrived an hour before closing on a Sunday evening. Still had an excellent variety in the buffet, including roast beef off a standing roast, chicken, pigtails, schnitzel, fresh breads, and a raft of other stuff. All while serenaded by a minstrel (ok, older guy playing every instrument and DJ ... between sets). Loved it. Been coming here for years, will continue. Went to a work Christmas party here. Asked for more vegetables several times but they were never brought. Recieved mashed potatoes instead.
