Was at Crabby Joe's in Woodstock on Monday, 29 April. Usually the food is good there. I had a salad and I know lettuce is expensive, bug "seasonal greens" don't cut it. And the tomatoes were quite overripe. I was quite disappointed. I didn't say anything as I didn't want to ... cause a scene and the server didn't ask. However, next time I have a salad, I'll ask if they will use lettuce instead of seasonal weeds...errr...greens. Read more

Took my 12 year old out for a pre-theatre dinner. He loves ribs and, happily Thursday is rib night . So half a rack and fries .. I thought the rack to be a bit small but he happily enjoyed it all and then went on to the humungous ... chocolate cake which he shared with me and could still take some home to his mom. Our family had an absolute blast at Crabby Joe’s! All in all great time, food was fantastic I had the New York steak and it was delicious. The quesadillas were great and crispy other places I’ve been they’ve always come out soggy, not these ones. Spinach dip was delicious but seems like it was a microwaved dish bubbling with ... how hot it was but still tasty. Dessert was good got apple crumble and the skor cheesecake. Apple crumble was okay definitely won’t be getting it again wasn’t the most flavourful however, the skor cheesecake phenomenal definitely a must try. My only issue was with the service, our server Taylor wasn’t the best she seemed to be rushing us with our dinner multiple times trying to get us to finish up when we were just trying to enjoy our night. She definitely confirmed my thought of trying to rush our dinner as when we were done she made it known “yup I’m done for the night you guys were my last table now I’m getting out of here” was not impressed with that service at all.
