The place was nice kind of a casual diner atmosphere and the burgers were tasty however the reason I give it only 3 stars is the price we asked for 4 burgers and 4 drinks. Only to receive literally that 4 burgers and 4 cans of pop which came to ... over $40. Now I understand that we did ask for that but I also think it would be customary to ask either, would you like that in a combo or would you like fries with that? Then to receive just that and see that four burgers and four cans of pop came to over $40. Just seems a little pricey in my opinion and we were kind of bummed out to see no fries. Read more

A staple in Woodstock. Great portions for the price! And the milkshakes are all amazing too! I wouldn’t recommend the onion ring poutine.. but I would recommend everything else on the menu!!

First time at Fritzie’s. I love my fries and they were fantastic there. Hot and crispy. I had the footlong hotdog and Michael had a bacon cheeseburger. I will definitely be eating at Fritzie’s again.

Went there as a family tonight for an early supper. Price was reasonable, service was 50/50 and we sat outside. Here's my problem. I asked for a classic hamburger with everything on it and I get a small amount of diced onions with only mustard. Am I missing something? I ... have read other reviews where the owner has stated " just ask for it and we will put it on ". In what province does everything on a burger only entail onion and mustard? Its sheer cheapness on their part. Because by only giving you onion there cost for other ingredients doesn't rise and it's more profit. And my daughter got the chicken nugget kids meal and guess what? It was the dinosaur nuggets we buy from food basics. I can make them at home. $7 for 30+. The entire experience was sub par. The fries were okay but nothing spectacular. I will say the gravy is good. To the owner: When a customer asks for everything on a burger it universally includes the following items Lettuce Tomato Onion Pickle Ketchup and mustard If you feel a customer should ask for this when requesting " everything " , then state that clearly on your menu and website. Or just say our "hamburgers come with only onion and mustard unless either wise requested" Honestly fritzies is nothing special. Just a old establishment in a town that doesn't know any better. This place is cook to order, not to ready. You may wait a little longer as a result, but they're still fairly quick and it's always hot and fresh. Fritzies never misses, the owner works in here frequently and is very invested in its operations and success. I will continue to bring ... people here for the foreseeable future. Read more
