Charles Dickens Pub - Woodstock, Ontario

This place has the best fish taco's in SW Ontario. The chef really knows what they are doing. The only negative thing I can say about this place is the long walk upstairs to the washroom. Everytime I have been here has been a blast. Food is 5 stars!

Traditional pub, good staff and good brewskies ( I haven't yet had a meal here). I've attended a couple of private events here. Usually, I love this place. I have been a few times. But we made an early reservation on Saturday, got there on time, ordered our food 5 minutes later and then waited an hour and a half! Even then, I had to point out we still had no food. Our ... server went running back to the kitchen, found our food and served it to us cold. Thankfully, I had good company or this would be a one star review. Top it all off, someone at a table near to us had waited half the time and got some free stuff while we paid full price. I LOVE this place they have $5 on tap bud bud light and Keith’s on Mondays and they have by far the best poutine Iv had. I have found my new drinking hole for Mondays haha 😍🥰 beautiful bar and cozy atmosphere

During our visit to Charles Dickens I had a special off of the “Big Cheese Days” menu called the Bacon Rarebit Burger along with a Pimm’s cup cocktail. My partner had a burger off of the regular menu. Her burger was good but mine lacked any semblance of bacon which ... due to ratio of bacon lattice to rarebit was overwhelming rarebit.
