It sounds so corny to say the good here is fresh, simple, and perfect but it really is. My mouth is watering thinking about a marinara pizza and big ol’ salad on the patio right now. Excellent food, delightful service, and a cozy, friendly atmosphere.

For a moment, I thought this must be Italy, but no, it's here in Winnipeg! An absolute must-visit for pizza aficionados. Also, get the Panna Cotta dessert and thank me later.

Vera Pizza is one of the best restaurants in the city. We have been going to Vera to celebrate anniversary’s, birthdays, and milestones in our family for over 7 years. While their pizza is amazing and what they’re known for, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn’t try ... their salad, crostini, meatballs and my personal favorite, their panna cotta. Fantastic, delicious simple well thought out ingredients makes for an incredible pizza. Thin crust, crispy on the sides, no cardboard crust. Perfect!

I probably shouldn't have waited so long to visit Vera because the pizza is pretty stellar. My husband loved the salad and we enjoyed the margarita and rucola very much. My son(12) said he preferred Vera over Red Ember at the Forks. 4 stars for the ambience because it can ... get loud but it's a happening place! Read more
