Very friendly staff that was not the issue. The issue was we paid $40 plus tax for a stale Ferraro Roche cake was very disappointed in the quality of the cake seeing it was not cheap. Tasted like stale cardboard. I had high hopes for this place. Also the whipping ... cream on some of the pastries I was not a fan of it. I am used to real whipping cream not the fake stuff. A wonderful variety of different pastries, tarts, and almost anything you can label as baked sweets. The service process is a little confusing- there should be a clear place to line up, select your order, and pay at the end near the door. To complicate things, people who are looking ... for a custom order for a cake, etc need to wait in the pick-up line. A girl came out of the back to see if the woman in front of me had been looked after but when she said yes she didn't ask me 😭 and went back into the back. Overall pretty good. Great selection and beautiful decorations. But....not as delicious as I was hoping. Crust was overworked, tough and too thick. Lemon filling was just whipped cream, not enjoyable. Brownie was too cake like. I'm always sad when baked goods don't live up to their image.
