One of the best sushi place in Winnipeg.

Great little place. Had to wait a short amount of time to get a table since they were busy. They seem a little understaffed for how busy it was but definitely did an amazing job serving us and making sure we were enjoying our time and the meal. The portions ... were great. At first, it seems a little pricy compared to elsewhere, but after ordering the chirashi and seeing the huge pieces of sashimi that were on top, it all made sense. TWO-BITE size pieces, multiple pieces of multiple types of fish. And they all tasted amazing. My only disappointment was that there was not a cocktail menu. I would have loved a fresh fruity or sparkly cocktail to go with the meal. Hands down best miso soup I've had. No doubt, we will be returning again soon. I went inside to pick up my order and was very pleased with the atmosphere of the restaurant, as well as the service. I arrived early and had to wait, but I was able to sit and have a nice chat while waiting. The sushi was tasty when I had ... it, but, unlike previous times I've gone, the sushi was not prepared as well, and had a tendency to fall apart upon my picking it up. I could attribute this to my poor chopstick skills, but I have had previous times at Sushi N when the sushi was able to withstand my clumsy attempts. Wow! Amazing is the only proper way to describe this place. The staff are phenomenal, I suffer from coeliac disease and the moment I asked about gluten free they knew exactly what I could eat. The portions of rolls are large and the quality of ingredients are fresh. I typically get sick ... eating sushi fish from other places, but have never had a problem with this place My girlfriend and I try to go twice a month and the warm greeting we get walking in is unmatched. We dined at Sushi N for the first time. We were impressed. Not expecting much because we usually go to other sushi restaurants, we have a new go to sushi spot. The sushi we ordered were generous in portion size. The quality was very good as the pic shows. ... BTW it's the first time ordering a Dragon roll were it actually came served looking like a dragon. Nice touch as the pic shows. The menu offers a vast variety of items to choose from for our picky family. The staff was informative and friendly. The service was fast. The decor is pleasant and clean. Its been awhile since we walked out of a sushi restaurant full. Looking forward to our next visit. Lots of parking available. Read more
