We did the sushi boat for 2, though there was 3 of us. I found the yakitori a bit tough The miso was standard and could have been warmer. Service was good. She was very friendly and kept our tea filled. We chatted with her a bit after the dinner service. This is a ... 3.5 star for food but I might give it another try due to the service. My friends have complained I am pickier about Japanese food since I used to work in that industry... I didn't pay so I can't say how I found the value. I enjoyed the Hamachi nigiri the most. Since there were 3 of us there were a number of items I did not get to eat, so I felt like giving them a lower rating wasn't fair, so rounded up this time instead. Read more

This is a decent sushi restaurant. Nice place for a date night. Never super busy, never any children. The service is always top notch and the quality of the fish is excellent. I was disappointed when they stopped serving Yellowtail, but they always have different types of tuna and salmon ... available. I can't comment on any of their cooked rolls as I have never tried them. Read more

The rolls were poorly wrapped, and fell apart the moment they were picked up. The wine list was almost all blacked out, so we just asked for the house red - which tasted like it had been left out for a week. The other reviews mentioning the futons are still ... accurate. I'll add that they are somewhat falling apart now, and very uncomfortable. The sushi tasted fine, though, so they have that going for them, which is nice. Some menu items have been blacked out with marker. Despite the restaurant usually being close to empty the food takes a long time to arrive. The bathrooms are unclean. The seating is old futons that desperately need replacing. It was like sitting on a cheap pull-out couch for dinner. The ... prices were ridiculously high for such low standards and zero ambiance.
