Santa Lucia Pizza - Winnipeg, Manitoba

Absolutely terrible. So greasy and not even a hint of crisp. I got the thin crust and tell me why it still tasted like mush

Ordered the 13" BOGO 50% OFF pizza deal, only to arrive at the restaurant to have only 1 pizza ready and to be overcharged. To make matters worse, I was then overcharged for the second pizza as well, which out of courtesy and due to the inconvenience of this situation, I ... should not have had to pay for, especially since now the first pizza had cooled off considerably at this point. Not to mention, both pizzas had way too much cheese when in fact, I ordered then with very light vegan cheese. After expressing my concerns, the restaurant staff did not have the autonomy to provide basic cutomer service skills by refunding the overcharged amount, but instead blamed the computer, stating an inability to rectify this issue. In fact, I was told they needed to speak with the manager who was not present, but who would supposably call me to discuss this poor experience. By this time, both pizzas which cost nearly $50, were now cold and needed to be reheated at home. All in all, both the food and the customer service were lacking in quality and the whole experience was not only frustrating, but not worth the high price or the time I spent. Read more

Great pizza! Got the Santa Lucia Special. Easy to order in their website. Overall would go back again.

Santa Lucia is usually really good but the last few times not so much. We usually get the Santa Lucia Special and it's a very hearty pizza. The last few times it's come with almost no sauce and I'd ask for no green peppers. Green peppers are fine but they ... put way too many on and way too big of chunks. Make sure to order extra sauce (I think its free) and unless you live green peppers ask to hold them off,maybe ask for banana peppers instead. It's also not cheap. You're looking at $70+ for 2 large pizzas. Otherwise it's good. Read more

I bought an X-Large, thin crust, bacon, green pepper and pineapple. The flavour was subpar due to a lack of sauce and less topping from other times I’ve ordered this pizza. Next time I will check the quantity of sauces & ingredients added to the pizza.
