I don't know what happened to this place. It used to be the best shawarma in Winnipeg and now it's just barely passable. What was once juicy and flavorful lamb and beef cut fresh from a rotisserie are now just the typical dry shrivelled pre-processed junk you can find ... in any hole-in-the-wall stop that purports to be shawarma. I use to like going here in the past and ordered my usual chicken plate in the past. It's been awhile visiting this location but the menu has changed at the store and abit confusing compare the online menu. My food was pretty disappointing and portion cut down a lot ... for the price I paid for the $15 plate I bought. service could of been better. Go somewhere else instead of this place for shawarma. Tonight we ordered a chicken plate. It was the worst meal we have had in a long time. The chicken was so charred, every mouthful tasted like charcoal. When the chef saw the meat was all black and burned they should have never served it to us. ... We used to eat here weekly. Their quality went down, but the price went up. Wish there was an option to give zero rating. They were out of lettuce and are using cabbage instead. When I asked the guy making my wrap that it doesn’t look like lettuce he said it is lettuce but the girl working at the store said it’s cabbage. Ordered catering from here for an event I was hosting. I chose their option 1 @ 10$/person. That got everyone a shawarma and a large helping of garlic roasted potatoes.
