My husband & I celebrated our Anniversary /Birthday, we love the restaurant. Our server Debbie is just wonderful, we ask for her everytime we go there.The meals are excellent, very tasty & hot, we couldn't ask for anything better! This resteraunt has been going strong for 40 years. Food is ex event, service even better. Decore hasn't changed in 30 years but is still very nice and not showing any signs of getting old. A great experience. Our party chose this restaurant for a birthday dinner. Our server was kind, attentive, and explained the specials of the day. The menu was large and had many options. My prime rib was cooked perfectly. The toppings for the baked potato were brought to the table separately ... and served. It was a nice added touch. Big portions were a bonus! Visited this restaurant kind of spur of the moment the Saturday after valentines Day.. we expected everywhere to be super busy, but they happened to have a table available at 7.30, which was perfect. We were seated in the lounge that was pretty busy - only one table left empty and ... was promptly offered drinks. The server was great, very attentive, and friendly. I ordered from the valentines menu they still had going, the deconstructed beef wellington. It was delicious! Definitely a different spin on the classic. I also tried the soup.of the day which was butternut squash. It was also pretty good. My husband ordered the sweet and spicy calamari which was incredible. I'm not usually a fan of calamari but I would order it myself when we go again. We have been a couple times over the last 15 years and the decor has never changed. A true classic restaurant. All in all a great night, atmosphere and food. Woild recommend if you're looking for a date night or somewhere to get some classic food. Read more
