This place is definiately one of the choices when it comes to East Indian food. They have the best variety of food in a buffet from starters,appetizers,main and desserts. Special orders are also good to taste. A really good bar and ambience is just perfect, if you are in for ... lunch then parking is available underground else across the street. Went for the dinner buffet and I give my experience a 5 starts. Well deserved. We paid $30 per person + tax and there were many many vegetarian and non veg options to choose from. From the starter to the dessert, everything was delicious. Naan are not on the buffet menu. ... You'll have to purchase them separately. Their service also was very welcoming. I was very happy with the food at East India Company. The goat curry is a must try. Their vegetarian food choices are all delicious. Good price point yet quality food. Take note, the naan bread and drinks are not included in the lunch buffet price. The waitresses, despite being new, provided ... exceptional service. Their friendliness stood out, and we received better service compared to other restaurants we've visited. Overall, a great dining experience. We will definitely come back. The food was amazing! Taste was authentic and spice level just right for my taste buds- I ordered my Mughlai Chicken hot. This is the only restaurant I know of in Winnipeg that makes delicious, authentic Indian food with accurate heat level. Server was friendly, owners were lovely and enthusiastic ... and the ambience was gorgeous. The crowd was well maintained. Rasmalai was also fantastic but could be less sweet. There were cocktails with the name Bombay and I ordered one, tasted great with all the mango but could be a little less sweet with less ice and less heavy/quantity. Cocktail service was rather slow.
