The food is mediocre and so was the service. The fish and chips was quite oily and the calamari was really salty. Also ordered the nachos and it was really small and barely had any toppings. Not really worth it. The nachos at the forks was actually better for cheaper. Only ... the fries was good to be honest. The service was also just alright. Not exceptionally friendly or great. As a big Weakerthans fan, the name of this place stood out and made my decision of where to stop pretty easy! It was alright. Decent beer and fish tacos. The staff were awesome and super friendly. If the place was busy (I went there early afternoon) it might have had a ... good atmosphere, but I do prefer smaller and more intentional spaces. Our whole experience was great! Probably one o of the best restaurants I’ve been in a long time. Our server was amazing. As someone with dietary needs it’s always important to me to have someone who actually knows what the capabilities of the restaurant are, she knew exactly what I ... could and couldn’t have and went above and beyond to explain possible cross contamination. Fun spot where I usually don't really think of drinks and food. Spacious interior, great selection of beers and, this got me, surprisingly amazing food. Lots of Asian infusion in the menu which is also well priced. Five star experience all around! I was blown away by the fantastic service and delicious food. I had the lamb sandwich and I would recommend it. The house salad paired with it nicely.
