We hadn't been here for a while, but we were both glad we came back. Curtis, owner/partner was as friendly and hospitable as ever. We had what seemed a new server. We all need to learn and make errors, right? He did his best and we didn't mind. I'm thinking ... we would have ruined his night, had we complained. Drinks, appetizers were on point, drinks and wine were a great selection as well. Dinner and dessert were both absolutely fabulous, as it always is. The bonus was the new feature of a piano player starting at 7:00 p.m. on Fridays. His music was from Old Blue Eyes, Frank Sinatra. Now how romantic is that! Wow - what a treat- visited this restaurant for my wife’s 54 birthday dinner with 4 others - food was fantastic! We had the frois grois, charcuterie board appetizers, French onion soup - full body broth - best I’ve had! We had the tenderloin tips with blue cheese- (suggest ... you substitute veggies for the fries), and my wife had the lobster risotto with prawns-everything was excellent! Early Valentines dinner with my hubby! We got the BBQ Chicken and had a mind blowing delicious experience! That dish was a solid 10! Our lips were smacking, our taste buds were in heaven! Service was great and prompt! The drinks were strong and great selection! I love the sharing of history ... of this restaurant. Although it may appear dated in style you can tell the place is well taken care of and sustaining its classic appearance. We can’t wait to go back!! What an absolute gem of a place from the great service, atmosphere/decor to the amazing food. I had the Filet Mignon and wife had the Beef BOURGUIGNON which were both outstanding. Plus the amazing escargot. Will be back.

Had dinner on a week night before Christmas. We were seated in the restaurant section. The calamari we started with was light and crispy with a flavourful orange ginger sauce on it. Very tasty. My main course of salmon was a good size though bland but I really ... enjoyed the creamy mashed potatoes and side vegetables which were mashed squash, red cabbage and asparagus spears. My mom's filet mingon was unfortunately very tough and chewy but she also enjoyed the sides. Service was not very attentive. Read more
