Great spot. Food was unreal. Really cool menu the way they have it set up. Set menu with 4 options in each of the 4 categories. Can be paired with wines additionally.

The food and service at the Deer and Almond was outstanding. We started with a delicious cocktail. We did the wine pairings, which complimented and enhanced each dish. The food had complex flavours. We had the morel appetizer and the grilled romain. Both were incredibly delicious. Next we had the ... beet dish, the cabbage and the tuna. All were delicious, the cabbage was my favourite. The mains we had were the lamb, the papperdelle pasta and the halibut. All were very pleased with their choice. I really enjoyed my lamb. Every part of the dish was executed with excellence. Every aspect was delicious and together the flavours sang. Dessert was peanut semifreddo and custard. All of us were pleased with our choices. The peanut semifreddo was very delicious, the best dessert I have had in a very long time. This experience from the cocktails we started with, the quaint atmosphere, delicious food enhanced by the wine pairings, was a fantastic way to spend an evening. The servers were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Thank you for this experience. My reason for the lower score on atmosphere is I thought the surroundings could use some refreshment. It's a vibe. The food was coursed out perfectly. The four course dinner has such good value. The food was so innovative. Jess was our server. She was funny and very accommodating. Thank you to all.

Amazing meal! Sit at the bar for a la carte options. You must get the Yu Choi, Pappardelle and peanut semifreddo. Pictured here is the scallops, semifreddo, feta and yu choi (in the video). We went early and basically had the place to ourselves. Street Parking is free after 530
