I cannot figure out why this place is so popular. We ordered 2 smokies, a hot dog, and onion rings. I would never bother again. Maybe I would try the ice-cream, but the food is very mediocre at best.

The most disappointing, overpriced food I’ve had in recent memory. Dry hamburger bun, tiny tasteless patty and cold soggy ‘fries’. The only thing that was ok was the milkshake and it should be for $8.95. $47 for my son and I. Man, I wish I had my $47 back. The only ... good thing about Skinners is the cool retro diner decor. Been going here for years and years. Always good solid dogs and fries. You know what you are getting and it's never cold or burnt. Had one bad 'fries' experience but everything was back to great the next visit. Easily 1000 visits over the years.

Diner food… it is what you expect diner food to be like. It’s absolutely nothing special. Purchased some ice cream pails with lids and didn’t expect them to reek of onions. Seriously unimpressed with having to deal with the smell in my car. They aren’t being used for ... my intended purpose because of the smell. So usually have pretty good service at Skinners as I usually go to the other location is the only thing I can think of. But I ordered a cheese burger with everything on it and got a COLD burger with cheese that can only be described to be the texture of ... bacon!!! So yummy right? So I call the place and she tells me to come back? Like girl you do realize that’s essentially a PIT STOP for most people…. Do better and also explain why my friends cheese burger had lettuce and all that and MINE DID NOT EEWWWWWWWWW I threw the cheeseburger on the side of the road for the animals so at least someone ate eh?
