The food was good, but they prioritize skip the dishes orders over people in the restaurant. After ordering we waited almost an hour for our food. All our waitress said was sorry, but we were busy. It wasn't that busy inside. We have been to places like Cora's, or Smitty's, ... where they are packed and there's lines out the door, and still the service is fast and the orders are brought out within 20 minutes. Been waiting for 40 mins for our food all we got was one starter salad so far. How long does it take to cook food honestly? Also my salad had mouldy tasting tomatoes. Yuck.

My friends and I are regular customers on Sunday mornings. This morning as always , I ordered soft poached eggs. I got almost well cooked eggs. I sent them back and when I got the eggs back, they were more cooked than the time before. I sent everything back. I ... couldn’t believe when I got a bill for the entire breakfast! When I went to pay, the server said she could take the coffee off! Are you kidding? I told her that I was upset and she went to talk to the owner. He said I had to pay for the whole breakfast! The definition of a neighborhood gem! My parents and I needed a restaurant that tastes like a diner version of home cooking and that is exactly what we got. Whatever you get, I recommend the fries as one of your sides! My Dad loved his starter soup. UPDATE: We went back ... for breakfast; YUM! Highly recommend the skillet or an omelet. Friendly staff. Have variety in their menu. Egg sandwich was good the omelette was good too. Kind a disappointed with the eggs Benedict the hollandaise sauce was not really good.
