Robin’s Donut - Winnipeg, Manitoba

I recently rediscovered this place from my childhood a few weeks ago, and was in nostalgic bliss. That didn't last long. They changed their menu last week so that Apple Fritters were no longer technically a donut. I walked in to get a dozen donuts like I have 4 weeks ... in a row, and the bill came to over $16! I asked why, and she rung it up as 10 individual donuts at $1.25 each and two Fritters at $2 each! A week ago this exact order was $9! I asked what my options were, and was told I could either get 12 other donuts and 2 Fritters for $14, or stick with my 10 donuts and 2 Fritters for $16. Great service! This place also looks like it hasn't be touched since the 90's, but that isn't a bad thing. Almost like a nostalgic trip back in time, and everything is in pristine condition!

Comfy and...gasp! Everyone speaks English! No misunderstandings due to language and cultural barriers like that other coffee chain. Good service and friendly.

Always friendly staff. Clean place and the usual Robins​coffee and snacks. I prefer Robins coffee to timmies.

Best apple fritters in town. Friendly staff went out of her way to save some fritters for me just before closing one evening. Would definitely recommend this location. Donuts are just so much better than
