Authentic Cantonese pastries with a long history in Winnipeg’s China Town. A go-to favourite with the local Cantonese community for their buns and pastries, but also for their durian and fruit cakes for birthdays and other celebrations. Highly recommend the pineapple bun, coconut bun, and the egg tarts. Also highly ... recommend going when the buns are freshly baked in the mornings. Just have to remember they accept cash only. Cash only. Hard to tell if open. Everything looks old. We walked in after Kim king ran out of egg custard to purchase here. We got home and it tasted old and not good. This place really went down hill. Cash only
Always order my families birthday cakes from here - a childhood classic for me. Their cakes are so good and all baked buns and egg tarts are priced well! They only except cash though.
