If you are gluten free and visiting Winnipeg you absolutely have to try this place. I haven’t found breaded chinese food I can eat anywhere else. So, so good! My mother hasn't eaten Chinese food since she was diagnosed with Celiac in 2011. This weekend I found this wonderful restaurant that has a special gluten free menu! Let's just say my mother was excited to try it! I will say that the very friendly pick up service was ... excellent. Just to note they open at 4pm and their phone rings of the hook for a bit at opening time. It's that good! We drove from St. Vital to the restaurant because it was a special treat however I do so again and again. The food was tasty and very flavorful. I couldn't tell the difference between the gluten and gluten free dishes. I highly recommend this wonderful little jewel on Portage Street! We are so happy to have found it! Read more

Amazing selection of GF Chinese food that is very good. They do not have a restaurant it's pick up or delivery only. 5 stars! Some feedback that I have is when you pay by card the machine prompts for a tip. Yet there is no restaurant or service! Highly recommend Lucky Koi. The service was great: We ordered food for four around 5:50 on a mid-August Thursday night and were told it would be about 20-25 minutes. When we rolled in at 6:10, everything was packaged up and ready to go. We were in and out to pick up ... food inside of a minute. The food was super tasty. My children can be very picky eaters, but they loved the food and want to order Chinese all the time when we return home out-of-province. The ginger beef was a touch too spicy for them (they were perfect for the adults) but they won’t stop talking about the chicken balls! The menu was huge and had a ton of options.
